Lofts at SoCo is a very 21st century name for a proud 19th century building. In 1876, Charles A. Eaton opened the shoe factory in this building that would make Brockton the shoe capital of the world. Work boots, dress shoes, sneakers and golf shoes--for more than 100 years, the name Etonic stood for innovation in shoes and manufacturing.
