So Connected

Sure, everyone wants to live in a high-personality neighborhood... after it's on the map. But you can beat the crowds; you can help put SoCo on the map right now.

SoCo is the district now taking shape in downtown Brockton, South of Court Street and bordered by Commercial Street. It's indicative of all that's happening in this renaissance city, which is experiencing a tremendous upsurge of both private and public capital investment. Boxing may have made Brockton famous--Rocky Marciano and Marvelous Marvin Hagler both called Brockton home--but today the City of Champions is making its name in the arts. The Veterans' Auditorium has been converted to the Buckley Performing Arts Center, home of the Brockton Symphony. There's a new library, new courthouse and a new transit hub for both bus and commuter rail as well.

Brockton has always been known for civic invention and ingenuity, and today it's a model for the concept of smart growth. From the new transit hub, you can be at South Station in under 30 minutes by commuter rail, in Braintree or Quincy in even less time. Although the ample parking at the transit hub is a non-issue for those who live at Lofts at SoCo--the hub is just across the street--you'll appreciate knowing you can be on Route 3, Route 24 or Route 95 in just a few minutes.
